Foreign interests are using a
Citizens United loophole to secretly
spend unlimited amounts of money in our elections.

The Supreme Court’s 2010 Citizens United Decision created a disastrous loophole that allows foreign billionaires to influence our elections by owning stock in politically active “USA-based” corporations.

Companies with significant foreign ownership — like Uber, Exxon, and Amazon — comprise 98% of S&P 500 corporations.

Multi-national corporations don’t care about us.

The former CEO of Exxon, Lee Raymond, literally said “I’m not a U.S. company and I don’t make decisions based on what’s good for the U.S.”

What is a Secret Spending Ban?

It’s simple: our bill bans foreign influenced corporations from spending in PA elections.

Why do we need it?

Pennsylvania is one of the most corrupt states in the United States, with some of the loosest money in politics laws in the country. A swing-state receiving a disproportionate amount of attention and therefore political spending, we need to set a standard across the country and Stop Secret Spending in our state’s elections NOW!
