In this moment of deep political crisis, we need more than just good campaigns. We need grounded, resilient democracy leaders who can carry those campaigns forward with clarity, courage, patience, and discipline.

Join MarchOnHarrisburg for an interactive workshop on the foundational practices of leadership development and personal transformation that are necessary in long-term organizing. We’ll dive into basics of leadership development with an emphasis on personal responsibility, collective care, and self-awareness.

Join the Pennsylvania Poor People's Campaign for a three-part course designed to demystify nonviolent direct action (NVDA) and build more leaders within our movement. This course will provide you with the tools to engage in effective, nonviolent action in order to build people power across all lines of division, and force concessions from the ruling class. Whether you're new to NVDA or looking to deepen your understanding, this course will equip you with the necessary skills and mindset to take meaningful action.

Course Goals:

- Demystify the Arrest Process: Gain an understanding of what to expect and how to navigate the legal aspects of NVDA.

- Understand Nonviolence: Define nonviolence and explore why it is an effective, strategic tactic.

- Build Leadership: Develop skills and comfort in NVDA and prepare to take on leadership roles within your organization.

- Messaging and Narrative: Learn how to craft compelling messages and narratives for NVDA campaigns.

- Historical Examples & Real-World Experiences: Learn from past victories and the experiences of other organizers, including examples from the PA PPC

- Spiritual and Mental Preparation: Discuss how to prepare mentally and spiritually for the grueling work of nonviolence, including the concept of "spiritual armor."

Billboarding for the Gift Ban: Montgomery County

There's no time to waste for putting pressure on the wealthy leaders of PA's Democratic Party and GOP to do the right thing: Pass the Gift Ban! We're getting our trusty signs out of storage for another round of tried-and-true Human Billboarding and Flyering at House Majority Leader Matt Bradford's community Senior Fair - join us! There will be a team of 55+ folks going in and asking questions, with others supporting outside with flyers and billboarding.
