Book Study: It's Not Enough to Be Angry, Willie Baptist

Two of our leaders will be guiding a two-party book study and discussion of "It's Not Enough to be Angry" by Willie Baptist. All are welcome to join and are strongly encouraged to participate in this book study!

It’s Not Enough to Be Angry offers an assessment of our present enemy and of ourselves, foundational knowledge in the contemporary struggles for justice and dignity. The title essay - a reflection from Baptist's more than 50 years of political activity and leadership in the struggle against poverty and oppression - draws on the study of history, political economy, ideology, and organizing strategy to offer an analysis of the global problems facing our whole society today, and points to a way forward for organizers and leaders looking to solve those problems.
