Town Hall Gathering - Pittsburgh

Nonpartisan, good government grassroots organizations Common Cause PA, MarchOnHarrisburg, League of Women Voters, UUPlan, Represent Us PA are joining forces as the Democracy Partnership of Pennsylvania, working together to fight to end corruption, make voting more accessible, and make the democracy of the Commonwealth stronger and more inclusive than it has ever been.

The groups want to share and hear from citizens across Pennsylvania about the type of reforms needed to improve our commonwealth. The town hall will be interactive, engaging and empowering for all in attendance.

The organizations within the Democracy Partnership represent tens of thousands of voters from counties across Pennsylvania. Collectively, the Democracy Partnership is advocating for the following reforms:
-Early voting
-No excuse Absentee ballots
-Same day registration
-Funding for new voting machines
-Open primaries
-Ending gerrymandering through Independent Redistricting Commission
-Ending legalized bribery through Gift Limitations

Common Cause PA, MarchOnHarrisburg, League of Women Voters PA, UUPlan, Represent Us PA will be traveling across Pennsylvania to discuss these reforms with voters and grow the movement.
